My second 360 has died…

Really very, very annoying. Now I have to wait for MS to supply me with a new 360, and even that was a bit of a chore.

Baldness sucks!

Some of you may know that I’ve been a bit balding for quite a while. This leaves me with 2 options.

Option 1: Buy a wig
Option 2: Shave the whole sodding lot off.

So option 2 it was! It’s all gone! Well, not quite to the same extent as Diesel Van, sorry, Vin Diesel, but it’s gone. Here, have a look at this…

Some people…

I’m a little frustrated at the moment. Annoyed is actually more like it, and for a few reasons, of which I’ll only go into one of them here.

Some of you may know that I, along with my good buddies Duncan, Gareth and Phil used to work on a TV show called Game Guru. We had a (mostly) great time doing this show, but as we all know, all good things must come to an end at some point. The program was shut down in favour for slapperistic porn call in crap, and the channel was re-named Babestation and moved to the porn section of the Sky Channel EPG jobbie.

Guru Larry has since seen fit to create a Wikipedia page for Game Guru and Game Network which, in my opinion, is great! I have my name on Wikipedia. Twice! The first draft was a bit of a mess and did need a bit of a clean up, which again, Larry has done to great effect. But when I was reading through the discussion section of the Wiki, I saw this comment…

While it is a valid point that this subject is justified in having a page on Wikipedia as any other, it needs a complete clean up in order to survive. If no attempt has been made to completely re-write the whole page with in a month, the page will be be sumbitted for deletion. —The preceding comment was added by Auzdafluff 23:04, 11 April 2007 (UTC).

Ouchie!

I know of Auzdafluff. Well, I know him through Luke. I know Auzdafluff now works at the UK’s major Games trade magazine. I know that he used to work for News0r, which is an Alienpants project (I beleive that Game Guru was originally an Alienpants project before Cellcast bought the rights*), as are a couple of text services that were used on Game Guru. From the (one?) times that I spoke to him on Xbox Live, I thought he was an OK kinda guy!

Now what actually really annoys me is that (as far as I know) Audafluff never actually had anything whatsoever with Game Guru, Game Network or Cellcast. So what gives him the right to threaten to remove an article that he actually knows nothing about? Apart from the fact, as I beleive, that Larry was in the process of re-writing the bloody article anyway!

I’m going to leave it at that for now. Grr… 

*If I am in any way mistaken, I’d be happy to be corrected.

Welcome to my new blog!

Yeah, I was going to keep the other blog updated on a regular basis, but quite frankly, I got bored of it. This blog I WILL keep updated!

It’s all a bit work in progress at the moment so bare with me for a while!
